What information do we need to collect from you?
In the initial stages of communication, if using the “contact us” page, we only collect information about you from the electronic form, we don't collect any other details such as IP address, browser details, visit history, etc. as we just simply don't need them. If contacting us by telephone, we need to collect Name, Address, Telephone number and if applicable, an email address.
Who do we share this information with?
We do not share this information with anyone outside our organisation unless in the case of alarm systems, your alarm is to be monitored by an approved ARC or monitoring station and for police response systems, your local police authority.
What might we do with your information?
Your information will be used only to process your request. You will not be added to any kind of mailing list by us or anyone else. Where the enquiry moves to “processing of order” stage and implementation of work, further information may/will be necessary to further this process (work) such as obtaining key holders details for monitored systems. We will also need the information to process operational obligations required to operate our business and to service your needs such as service and maintenance notifications and dealing with client’s requests and clients key holders requests as and when necessary.
This information can only be provided by you so you will be aware of the process at all times. Existing customers will already have provided this data as it forms the basis of the “contract” required for us to operate, provide servicing/maintenance, accounts and deliver a high quality service to you.
How long do we keep your information?
We'll keep it as long as is necessary for the purposes of communication and providing a service to you or the property. (2 years max if no work processed)
Can I view the information you have about me?
Yes, you may request to see the information by giving an acceptable period of notice.
Can I remove the information you have about me?
Certainly, just email us on the address given on our website and we'll delete your name and contact details from our system asap. Alternatively please write to us at our office address.
It may be necessary to change this Policy from time to time to ensure compliance with GDPR so please check that you have the current version.
